Request an Appointment
There are different ways to request an appointment at Manor Medical Practice depending on the type of care you need.
GP Appointments
If you need help from a GP, please submit a request using PATCHS, our online consultation service.
You will be asked a few questions about what you need help with. This information helps our team understand your needs and arrange the most appropriate care.
Once we have reviewed your request, we will let you know the next steps. This may include an appointment with a GP or another appropriate healthcare professional, a telephone consultation, advice, a prescription, or signposting to another service.
If You Can’t Use PATCHS
We understand that not everyone is able to use an online service.
If you are unable to use PATCHS or need help completing a request, please call us on 01274 484111 or speak to our reception team in person.
A member of our reception team can ask you the relevant questions and submit a PATCHS request on your behalf.
You will not be disadvantaged if you are unable to use the online service.
Nurse and Other Appointments
Some appointments can be booked directly through our reception team and do not require a PATCHS request.
These include appointments with members of our nursing and healthcare team, where appropriate.
Please call 01274 484111 or speak to reception and our team will help you arrange the appropriate appointment.
Pharmacy First
The NHS Pharmacy First service allows community pharmacists to assess and, where appropriate, provide treatment for certain common conditions without you needing to see a GP first.
Pharmacy First can provide help for:
- Earache – children aged 1 to 17 years
- Impetigo – adults and children aged 1 year and over
- Infected insect bites – adults and children aged 1 year and over
- Shingles – adults aged 18 years and over
- Sinusitis – adults and children aged 12 years and over
- Sore throat – adults and children aged 5 years and over
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs) – women aged 16 to 64 years
Your pharmacist will assess your symptoms and advise on the most appropriate treatment. This may include supplying prescription-only medication, including antibiotics, where clinically appropriate.
You can contact a participating community pharmacy directly for advice about Pharmacy First.
