Outside work, I enjoy the cinema, occasional running, singing, and wine tasting.

The Practice Manager manages all of the business aspects of the Practice such as making sure that the right systems and the right people are in place, at the right time, in order to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises, equipment and IT (information technology). The Practice Manager supports the Admin Team, GPs and other medical professionals to deliver patient services and also helps to develop extended services, enhancing patient experience and care.

Training practice

Dr Evans and our other doctors work with medical students of all parts of their study during term time. Subject to the patient’s agreement, students may sometimes attend with the doctor at consultations.

GP net earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in Bridges Medical Practice in the last financial year was £85,138 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 10 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.
