Training practice

Shah Zaman Surgery has been accredited as a training practice since 2009. We’re happy to provide a friendly environment for doctors who choose general practice as their career. We also provide placements for FY2 doctors, some of them choose general practice as their future career.

Dr Asad Zaman is a GP trainer in the practice. His aim is to provide a very friendly and conducive environment for GP trainees and FY2 doctors, in which they can flourish their career. During their placement the trainees are considered an integral part of the practice team. They receive one to one tutorials and tailored made guidance.

It is expected that trainees will work hard during their placements at Shah Zaman Surgery and in return will gain a valuable experience which will help them to form the strong foundations of their future career.
