Ordering repeat prescriptions

To order a repeat prescription please use the repeat slip provided with your medication or let us have a written request. Please tick those items that you require.

You can also sign up for the Nhs App to order your repeat medication.

You can also sign up for Patient Access to order repeat medication via the link at the top of this page – please speak to reception about signing up for this service.

Prescriptions will be processed within 48 hours. Always ensure that your repeat request is with us in good time.

Please note: If we do not have your repeat request by 12:30 it is not dealt with until the following day.

NHS Charges

These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.

Prescription (per item): £9.65
12-month prepayment certificate (PPC): £111.60
3-month PPC: £31.25

If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.

Pharmacy services

We can send your prescription to the local chemist for collection. The local Pharmacist also operates a ‘home delivery’ service which there may be a charge for.

If you have arranged for home delivery please discuss the timescale with the chemist.
