Please think Pharmacy First – Pharmacists can offer advice on a range of illness such as coughs, colds, sore throats, ear infections. aches and pains. They can also give advice about medicines. This includes how to use your medicine, side effects or any other questions you may have. If they cannot help you they will refer you to a GP or other healthcare professional.
If you wish to book a GP appointment, please complete an online request form.
You do not need a log in or password. Just select either from Medical Request or Admin request and complete the few simple questions and submit your form. Please ensure that you enter you personal details correctly on the online forms. Please note that we are unable to send into a GP if the details are incorrect and will result in your request being rejected and this could lead to a delay in treatment.
If you are having trouble in filling in this form- you can still contact the practice by phone and our team will assist you with the same online form.
For all nurses appointments, please call the Reception Team as normal on 01202 974700 to book an appointment.

You don't always need to see a GP
General practice is facing unprecedented pressure. Demand is exceeding capacity, patients are facing longer delays and abuse in practice is rising as a result. We are working hard to meet the increased demand in the area. We are sorry that our waiting times may be longer than you are used to, but help us to help you, by choosing the right person for your problem at the right time. You don’t always need to see a GP.

Cancelling your appointment
It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. The practice does send text reminders to patients if you have a current mobile. Please ensure that you have consented for us to send you appointment text reminders. Thank you for cancelling appointments you are unable to make or no longer require as this helps us to manage capacity and reduce waiting times by offering to other patients.
If you persistently fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend appoiontments, you may be removed from our practice register.
Enhanced Access Clinics
We’re here for you.
We are pleased to inform our patients that we will be offering some of our services at evenings within the Primary Care Network based at East Way Clinic. (BH8 9PU)
Where appointment slots are available after 5pm we will be prioritising those patients who have an urgent need or require same day consultations.
Outside of our opening hours
If you require urgent care for something that is not life-threatening please use 111.nhs.uk or call 111.
If you or someone you are with is in a life-threatening situation, don’t hesitate – call 999 and ask for an ambulance.
Home Visits
These are predominantly for the elderly housebound or people who are too ill to attend the surgery.
If a visit were necessary, it would greatly assist the doctor to make the request before 11:00. However, should you feel better following your request for a doctor to visit, please telephone the surgery and cancel this asap please note:
Home Visits are not for people who do not have transport.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Medical Centre.
