Test results

Please call reception on 01268 542 901 for results of all tests arranged by the practice. Please ring for these results after 11am , the telephone lines are busy with patients making appointments from 8am to 11am.

The following waiting times are given as a guide:

• Blood Tests 2-7 days
• X-rays 14-21 days
• Cultures/Swabs 5-10 days

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

If you are following up tests that were arranged outside of the GP surgery (e.g., Hospital, A&E, Consultant, Privately), please contact that service to obtain your results.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.
