The Wychwood Surgery now has a locality based primary care mental health nurse support team providing clinics here two days a week.\u00a0 Louise Neville and Carmel O’Malley are providing clinics here most Tuesdays [all day] and Thursday afternoons.\u00a0 They are providing this service for local GP surgeries [Bloxham Surgery, Chipping Norton Health Centre, Deddington Health Centre, Sibford Surgery & Wychwood Surgery].<\/p>\n
Your GP may suggest that you book an appointment with either Louise or Carmel to give you the opportunity to explore your anxieties or mental health issues in greater depth and look at ways of supporting you through the surgery rather than immediate referral to other NHS Mental Health services.<\/p>\n
This is a wonderful opportunity for patients to be able to seek help and support locally without having to travel to Oxford or Banbury.\u00a0 Please see the attached leaflet for further information on the type of support that Louise and Carmel are able to provide and for other suggestions of support organisations you might feel it appropriate to contact.<\/p>\n
