Please arrange an appointment for a travel consultation a <strong>minimum of 6 weeks<\/strong> before departure. Vaccines need time to take effect and some may require a course over several weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Most common vaccines stocks are maintained at the surgeries such as Typhoid, Hep A\u00a0and Hep B.<\/p>\n<p>The Surgery can only administer Hep A, Typhoid and\u00a0DTP (Diphtheria\/tetanus\/pertussis)\u00a0and Polio\u00a0under the NHS.<\/p>\n<p>Any other vaccinations (such as Hep B, Japanese Encephalitis or Yellow Fever) required for travel will need to be provided by a private clinic.<\/p>\n<h2>Travel Assessment<\/h2>\n<p>If you are travelling abroad please collect a travel form from either surgery and complete and return within a <strong>minimum of 6 weeks<\/strong> before your journey.<\/p>\n<p>We are not able to accept forms where the date of departure is\u00a0less than\u00a06 weeks.<\/p>\n<h3>Travel Advice Leaflet<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/surgerywebtemp.org.uk\/j82129\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Travel-Health-Advice-Leaflet.pdf\">Click\u00a0here<\/a> to download our practice travel advice leaflet<\/p>\n<p>This leaflet contains general advice and information about a variety of aspects that should be considered when travelling abroad.
