Test results are available between 2.00pm and 4.30pm<\/strong>\u00a0Monday to Friday.<\/p>\n

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection; test results are only released to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.<\/p>\n

When a test is taken details will be given concerning availability of\u00a0results back at\u00a0the practice.<\/p>\n

Please note that we won’t routinely contact patients about normal results. Any results requiring action; a member of\u00a0our practice team will contact the patient.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Blood Test Appointments<\/h2>\n

At the Hospital<\/h4>\n

Phlebotomy services are changing to an appointment only system to enable social distancing and reduce waiting times for patients. Patients can choose where and when they have their blood test.<\/p>\n

You can now book your blood test appointment online by going to\u00a0https:\/\/patientbooking.uhs.nhs.uk\/<\/a>. See the information sheet linked below for more details.<\/p>\n

Changes to adult blood test (phlebotomy) services<\/a><\/p>\n

Patients\u00a0should ring\u00a002381 204877<\/strong>,\u00a0Monday to Friday between\u00a08am\u00a0and 6pm<\/strong>\u00a0to book an appointment at any of the following hospitals:<\/p>\n

Please note these services are for patients\u00a0aged 16 years and over only.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Blood tests for children<\/h4>\n

Patients\u00a0under the age of 16<\/strong>\u00a0requiring blood tests must attend\u00a0Southampton General Hospital, Butterfly Room.

At the surgery<\/h4>\n

The Practice\u00a0runs a\u00a0‘by appointment only’\u00a0<\/strong>blood test\u00a0appointments at our\u00a0Brockenhurst or Sway Surgery.<\/strong>\u00a0Please speak to a member of our patient services team to book an appointment.<\/p>\n
