Patients can then contact the surgery to book a 30-minute appointment with a Practice Nurse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Please note \u2013 if you are currently pregnant or under gynaecology for surgical treatment, the GP surgery will defer your cervical screening for you until it is appropriate for you to attend.<\/span><\/p>\n How will I get the results?<\/strong><\/p>\n The results are then sent to you in the post and also forwarded to your GP surgery.<\/span><\/p>\n From September 2025<\/span>, those who have a negative test result will be notified of this by an NHS App message.
