This means all requests for appointments will first be reviewed by a clinician, who will ensure you are directed to the most appropriate care for your needs.<\/p>\n<p>All appointment requests must be submitted via <strong>Anima<\/strong>, our online triage platform. You can access this in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>Online via our website<\/li>\n<li>Through the NHS App<\/li>\n<li>By phone, where Emma, our AI receptionist, can complete the form for you<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requests can be submitted <strong>Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:30pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you are unable to complete the form, support is available at the surgery, including access to an iPad and assistance from our team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What happens after you submit a request<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once your request has been reviewed by a clinician, you will be contacted with the most appropriate next steps. This may include:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>A same-day or routine appointment<\/li>\n<li>Advice to attend another NHS service (such as a pharmacy or urgent treatment centre)<\/li>\n<li>Self-care guidance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We aim to ensure you are seen or advised in the most appropriate and timely way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Information to include<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To help us assess your request effectively, please provide as much detail as possible, including:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>Your symptoms or concern<\/li>\n<li>How long you have had the issue<\/li>\n<li>Any changes or worsening of symptoms<\/li>\n<li>Relevant medical history or medication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Urgent medical problems<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have a medical emergency or life-threatening symptoms, please call <strong>999<\/strong> or attend A&amp;E immediately.<\/p>\n<p>For urgent but non-life-threatening concerns when the practice is closed, please contact <strong>NHS 111<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why we are making this change<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This system helps us prioritise patients based on clinical need, reduce waiting times, and ensure you are directed to the most appropriate healthcare professional as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we introduce this new way of working.<\/p>\n<p>Kind regards,<br \/>\n<strong>The Practice Team<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 5th May 2026, we will be moving to a total triage system.
