{"id":345,"date":"2024-04-05T15:08:30","date_gmt":"2024-04-05T14:08:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nhs-demo.surgeryweb.org.uk\/?page_id=345"},"modified":"2026-11-04T14:05:24","modified_gmt":"2026-11-04T14:05:24","slug":"clinics-services","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/surgerywebtemp.org.uk\/c81031\/clinics-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Clinics &#038; Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>GPs<\/h3>\n<p>All the doctors are eligible to provide child health surveillance, contraception, maternity and minor surgery services.<\/p>\n<h3>Nurse Clinics<\/h3>\n<p>Our practice nurses run clinics (bookable in advance only)\u00a0to monitor high blood pressure, asthma and chronic chest problems, diabetes.\u00a0 They also perform cervical smears, travel immunisations and give general advice on healthy living.\u00a0 Appointments to see them can be made directly at reception.<\/p>\n<h3>Patients not seen within 3 years<\/h3>\n<p>Patients who have not been seen in the preceding 3 years may request an appointment with a doctor or nurse for a well person check.<\/p>\n<h3>Patients aged 75 years and over<\/h3>\n<p>Patient aged 75 and over who have not attended the practice in the preceding 12 months may request an appointment with the doctor or nurse for an over 75 check.<\/p>\n<h3>Minor Injuries<\/h3>\n<p>The Park Surgery offers a limited minor injury service for injuries, which are not amenable to simple domestic first aid, including\u00a0for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bruises<\/li>\n<li>Bites\/Stings<\/li>\n<li>Sprains\/Strains<\/li>\n<li>Sunburn<\/li>\n<li>Splinters<\/li>\n<li>Whiplash<\/li>\n<li>Minor Head Injuries where there has been no loss of consciousness<\/li>\n<li>Minor lacerations<\/li>\n<li>Minor eye injuries<\/li>\n<li>Minor burns and scalds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The above service at the Surgery is by appointment only.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GPs All the doctors are eligible to provide child health surveillance, contraception, maternity and minor surgery services.
