Many problems are managed more quickly and conveniently by other NHS services, including contraception, eye problems, sexual health, therapy, travel vaccines \u2014 and especially your <strong>local<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>pharmacy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pharmacists can treat a wide range of conditions\u00a0<strong>for free, often the same day (including weekends)<\/strong>. Send us a request and we\u2019ll respond with advice, a prescription, a call, or an appointment.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"d9t2c\"><b>Urgent &#8220;Cannot wait until the next working day&#8221; Requests:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-block-key=\"jqlp\">In the morning, please consider submitting your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/accurx.nhs.uk\/patient-initiated\/A83011\">requests online<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; if you can &#8211; even for urgent matters. A GP will typically review any request within 2 hours in the morning to decide what help is needed.<\/li>\n<li data-block-key=\"nlhk\">In the afternoon, please\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/surgerywebtemp.org.uk\/a83011\/contact-the-practice\/\">telephone us<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; if you can &#8211; so we can ensure your request is flagged to the emergency doctor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Routine requests:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can submit a request online through <a href=\"https:\/\/accurx.nhs.uk\/patient-initiated\/A83011\">Accurx Patient Triage<\/a> or our reception team can complete the form for you over the phone.<\/li>\n<li data-block-key=\"fn632\">This service is available for\u00a0<b>routine<\/b>\u00a0queries Monday to Friday.<\/li>\n<li>Your request will be reviewed by our clinical team, and we will respond that day with the most appropriate next step.\u00a0 This be advice, a prescription, a phone call, or a face to face appointment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Medical Emergencies when the &#8216;Practice is Closed&#8217;<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you need medical help now, use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/111.nhs.uk\/\">NHS 111 online<\/a> or \u00a0<a class=\"dontpreview\" href=\"tel:111\">Call 111<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a class=\"dontpreview\" href=\"tel:999\">Call 999<\/a> in a medical or mental health emergency.
