{"id":748,"date":"2026-02-19T10:08:49","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T10:08:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/surgerywebtemp.org.uk\/a83011\/?page_id=748"},"modified":"2026-02-19T10:31:04","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T10:31:04","slug":"home-visit","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/surgerywebtemp.org.uk\/a83011\/home-visit\/","title":{"rendered":"Home Visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-block-key=\"7m6ex\">Home visits are only for patients who are housebound and too unwell to come to the surgery.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"d04fp\">Housebound, in this context, means that you rarely ever leave your house due to reasons of ill health, and even with the help of family or public transport, are still unable to travel to the surgery.<\/p>\n<p data-block-key=\"dc2fc\">Requests for home visits may be made by calling the surgery reception team on <b><a href=\"tel:01913746888\">0191 3746888<\/a><\/b>,\u00a0 preferably before 10.00 a.m.\u00a0 The duty doctor may contact you to gain more information regarding your request for a home visit.<\/p>\n<h3 data-block-key=\"cnfqt\">Why do we ask you to come to the surgery if you can?<\/h3>\n<p data-block-key=\"1q40u\">Some pieces of medical equipment which are very helpful are only available at the surgery.
