The practice provides an NHS vaccination service for routine scheduled vaccinations and a limited selection of vaccines needed for travel.

Which vaccines do the practice offer?
We can only offer the following vaccines for free on the NHS:
- Polio (given as a combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio jab)
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis A
- Cholera
For travel to some countries, other vaccines may be required. These can be obtained privately (at a cost). Some private providers are listed below.
How do I arrange my vaccines at the surgery?
Before contacting the practice, you should seek advice from a specialist travel clinic. We provide a limited travel vaccination service only, and patients who have not already had appropriate travel advice may be asked to attend a travel clinic before vaccines are given.
If you only require NHS travel vaccines and have already checked your requirements:
- Contact reception to arrange a telephone consultation with a practice nurse
- The nurse will review your vaccination history and confirm what we can provide
- If further assessment is needed (e.g. complex travel or antimalarial advice), you will be advised to attend a travel clinic
Please note:
- Appointments are routine and may take 1–2 weeks to arrange
- We recommend preparing at least 8 weeks before travel
How can I arrange my vaccines more urgently, as I need to travel soon?
Travel vaccines will only be given on a “urgent” basis where a patient can clearly demonstrate that they could not have predicted the need to travel (e.g. unwell relative) and not simply for a holiday. If you need a vaccine urgently for a holiday, we advise you contact a private provider.
